Working with a small to medium sized multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy, this role is both design and planning with the present work mix being 50/50 on design/planning [LVIA].
Whilst we seek a minimum of 5 years’ post-graduation experience, the ideal is a recently Chartered Landscape Architect or with 1-2 years’ experience but we can be flexible for the right individual.
We would also look for good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max and Sketch Up
Knowledge of Vectorworks also an advantage.
Fundamentally we seek a safe pair of hands, someone who can get on with the role requirements and can thrive in an environment where you have the ability to be independent but with support when required.
You will provide specialist consultancy advice for landscape design, landscape management and landscape planning [LVIA, EIA, SEA etc.].
You will operate nationally and be able to take design projects from the master planning and technical delivery stage [stages 3 and 4] to discharge reserved matters and deliver technical construction packages.
You will need to understand commercial practice in landscape architecture including; resourcing, fee proposals, project budgets, statutory compliance, programme and continuing professional development.
You will also be required to assist in the delivery of landscape and visual impact assessments, landscape and visual advice and landscape design for a number of sectors such as leisure, waste, minerals, land and property development, infrastructure development, energy and utilities and insurance companies.
