Description✓Senior Technician [Rhoda McGaw Theatre]
✓The Ambassadors, Woking, comprises three exciting and thoroughly individual venues: the 1321-seat New Victoria Theatre, the 228-seat Rhoda McGaw Theatre and the 7-screen Nova Cinema.
✓We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Technician to join our technical team.
✓You’ll report to the Technical Manager and Deputy Technical Manager, and be responsible for Full Time and Casual Technicians
✓You will provide stage, lighting and audio services to all stage performances, concerts and related activities within the agreed schedules and budgets for the Rhoda McGaw Theatre through multi-skilling as well as maintenance of the theatre systems and equipment
✓In the absence of the Deputy Technical Manager, lead in all areas relating to stage and fly’s.

✓What are we looking for?
✓We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Technician who has a commitment to providing a high level of service and care
✓Who is skilled in all aspects of Technical Theatre with good administration skills
✓Your energy and enthusiasm will be complimented by your calm, methodical approach to work and you will have a passion for live theatre.
✓Essential
✓* Knowledge/experience in large scale production stagecraft
✓* Knowledge/experience of operating and maintaining counterweight flying systems
✓* IT literate [Word, Excel]
✓Desirable
✓* 5 years experience working in a Technical Department in a large-scale theatre
✓* Excellent knowledge of Theatre techniques, rigging and terminology
✓* Experience in motivating a team
