Training Course Designer
Description✓Training Course Designer opportunity with MKC Training based a prestigious training school, in Chatham, Kent.
✓Up to £44K + excellent benefits [6 weeks hols, pension, healthcare etc] and on-going professional development with excellent long term prospects
✓Monday to Friday 8.00 – 4.30, 37 hours per week.
✓This is a rare opportunity to join the Training Transformation Team at MKC Training, a growing training provider, who hold a 30 year contract with the Royal School of Military Engineering
✓Candidates DO NOT need a military background.
✓Qualifications - Training Course Designer
✓Qualification in training design / Training Needs Analysis and/or educational design practices - Essential
✓Relevant Professional Qualification/Membership [e.g
✓CIPD Membership] - Desirable
✓Project Management qualification – Desirable
✓Experience - Training Course Designer
✓Use of Management Information Systems [MIS]
✓Knowledge of current trends within learning and development practice
✓Ability to utilise DSAT documentation within the design process [training provided]
✓Ability to utilise National Standards within the design process
✓To be self-directed with a high level of personal drive and experience of moving forward new initiatives in a challenging environment
✓Course or curriculum design
✓Use of statistical analysis and interpretation of trends to support decisions
✓Main responsibilities
✓Interpreting role specification, role scalar and operational performance statement
✓Carrying out Knowledge Skills Attitude analysis
✓Creating Training Objectives
✓Generating Formal Training Statements
✓Creating Learning Scalar
✓Developing Enabling Objectives, Key Learning Points
✓Determining and producing a “Methods and Media” strategy and action plan
✓Developing the Course Programme
✓Developing the Assessment Strategy
✓Creating Learning Specifications, Assessment Specifications
✓Liaising with Subject Matter Experts during development of course documentation
✓Utilising and promoting the RSME Methodology
✓Leading and coordinating the design process
✓Supporting Training Needs Analysis
✓Support Training Needs Evaluation
✓Producing progress reports
✓Communicating progress at stakeholder reviews
✓Utilising TAFMIS applications
