3.5 Tonne Recovery Driver

Due to this sustained growth, we are looking for a passionate dynamic individual who is driven and would love to join our fast-paced team.
Our Drivers are an integral part of our business, based at our Luton site the main purpose of this role is to undertake all driving tasks as directed by the Transport Manager and in accordance with the Driver Procedure & Responsibilities Manual and Drivers Process Manual.
Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure safe delivery / collection of all customers vehicles
Ensure you contact every customer before arrival.
* Complete all Job Pack paperwork neatly and legibly and obtain signatures where required.
* Mark all damage on vehicle with chalk pen before taking images.
* Ensure Customer Vehicle Condition Report is complete in addition to any images taken before passing to Estimators.
* Advise your Transport Manager when leaving every job.
* Follow all procedures within the Drivers Procedure and Process Manuals, with no exception.
* To comply with the Drivers Tacho Break Regulation 2009 [if applicable].
* Policy Excess, VAT Bills and Private Quotes – ensure payment has been taken before leaving site – if payment has not been paid, query with the Transport Manager.
* Ensure courtesy cars are up to standard and safe for customer use
Report any defects or damage to Transport Manager immediately
* Ensure you follow the correct procedure when dealing with customer complaints.
Here’s what you’ll need to do great at ABL1 Touch:
* Full UK driving license for a minimum of 4 years
* Experience in vehicle recovery is preferable
* Team Player who uses initiative, be flexible and have a can-do attitude
* Adaptable and tenacious with the stamina required to follow through
* Takes responsibility for own actions
* Takes pride in doing the right thing in line with company culture
