Apprentice Bodyshop Customer Service Advisor

DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Bodyshop Advisor to join our expanding team at Sytner Chigwell
This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, enthusiastic and proactive individual who has an understanding of vehicle repairs
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with one of the world’s most prestigious and technologically advanced car manufacturers.
This is a customer-facing role, managing the relationship with BMW/MINI customers who have their vehicles repaired by us, however, you will spend the first half of the training programme learning all of the back-of-house administrative processes that will equip you with a thorough understanding of every element of the customer journey.  This work will require a high degree of accuracy, so you must have excellent attention to detail.  You must be educated to A level standard or equivalent, have GCSE Maths, English and one other subject at grades A* to C/9-4, with an appetite for learning and a commitment to being a positive team player.
The role will involve liaising with customers and arranging repairs to their vehicles from small wheel refurbs up-to structural repairs
You will be responsible for carrying out repair estimates, either via the Audatex system or the Autopad system, for which full training will be given, and will lead to negotiating with insurance engineers.
Once trained, your role will be focused on dealing with customers, who have high expectations and a varied range of needs and demands, therefore you need to have exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport, as well as a desire to provide the highest level of customer service.

All Trainees attend the BMW Group Academy in Berkshire for some of their off-the-job training
The programme will strongly focus on the retail environment, the high customer service expectations of BMW & MINI customers
The training takes place over a 15 month period and on successful completion of the programme, you will have a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner and an exceedingly bright future!
