✓Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
✓Rate: £19.27 per hour [PAYE] OR £25.89 per hour [Umbrella]
✓Duration: 6-12 months, likelihood of extension
✓Overtime available at x1.5
✓A global automotive consultancy is looking for a CNC Grinder [Contract] to join their busy team based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
✓Key Responsibilities:
✓We are seeking a CNC Grinder, Setter/Operator, to increase capability/capacity due to increased expansion and growing order book within the High Performance Transmission Products division.
✓This role involves:
✓Programming, Setting and Operating Studer CNC Grinder
✓Manual grinding experience would be advantageous.
✓Programming of Fanuc 16T control and Studer Picto programming software.
✓Grinding of aerospace and transmission components to ensure parts are to drawing and of an acceptable standard
✓Qualified to a respectable Level.
✓Use of various inspection equipment, to determine size and surface finish.
✓Manual grinding as and when required cylindrical, internal/external and surface grinding
✓Experience/Skills required:
✓Must have significant experience within a grinding environment.
✓Confident use of precision measurements and/or hand tools.
✓Good knowledge of grinding wheel grades, types, and cutting data.
✓Effective communication skills [verbal and written] in order to liaise with colleagues.
✓Use of literacy skills to complete route cards, records, etc
