CNC Machinist
Description✓Job Title: CNC Machinist
✓Location: Reading
✓Contract Type: Permanent
✓Our client is a leading engineering defence business located in the Reading area
✓Looking for a CNC Machinist to join the engineering team for a day’s position working Monday to Friday with and early finish on a Friday
✓The role is a permanent position and comes with an extensive benefits package including private healthcare and life assurance.
✓Key Responsibilities –CNC Machinist
✓Set up machines for allocated jobs
✓Make required calculations when performing layout/machining of angles, radii, location of milled slots, tapers and bores
✓Assist in inspection of goods inwards
✓Sharen cutting tools as necessary and remove broken tooling
✓Move materials as necessary and perform necessary benchwork
✓Assist production control and other areas of the company when required
✓
✓Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Machinist
✓Experienced in Setting, Operating and basic programming of CNC Machines
✓Fanuc controls
✓Previously worked within machine shop environment
✓Worked within a CNC Turning position
