Description✓Engine Electronics Engineer - 12 month Contract - Inside IR35 - Flexible Working - Peterborough

✓We are looking for an experienced Engine Electronics Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis, working inside IR35 with the option of flexible hybrid working
✓As our primary technical support for the Electronic system, you will play a key role in proactively working with other Electronics team members and development partners to ensure the system runs smoothly and efficiently
✓Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to queries related to pinouts, schematic questions, and software functionality, investigating and troubleshooting quality issues, proposing changes and improvements to components/systems or processes, creating or modifying software flashfiles, and maintaining and improving validation test plans for software features
✓You will also review and support technical publications, create and maintain system architecture diagrams and schematics, participate in defining the system architecture and selecting Electronic components, and participate in FMEA and validation activities for the Electronic system and components
✓To be considered for this role, you must be a degree-qualified engineer with experience in the broad range of systems engineering activities involved in the development of Electronic Engine, machine, or automotive control systems
✓You must have demonstrated experience in actively collecting and developing detailed Electronic related customer requirements, documenting Electronic technical specifications, defining Electronic features, and coordinating their development
✓You must also have experience in completing verification testing of software features, fault-finding on Electronic systems down to a component [e.g., sensor] level, and participation in FMEA development
✓In addition, you should have good Electrical and Electronic knowledge with proven, methodical, ‘fault finding’ capability, experience in integration aspects of a system for both fault finding and Electronic system design, and very good teaming and communication skills
✓You should be a self-starter with good initiative, able to build strong working relationships locally and within a Global team, and provide focus on the customer and their needs
✓Finally, you should have the ability to initiate and take independent action
