HGV Trailer PDI Inspector
Description✓The Logistics People are recruiting a HGV Trailer PDI Inspector on behalf of Trailer Auto Group.
✓Job role:
✓HGV Trailer PDI Inspector
✓Location: Stoke-on-Trent
✓Pay : £14 per hour + Bonus Scheme
✓Hours: 7.30 am – 4.00 pm
✓Days: Monday to Friday
✓Overtime: OTE
✓Motivated and enthusiastic HGV Trailer PDI Inspector required.
✓This is an excellent opportunity for a HGV Trailer PDI Inspector to join our new purpose-built facility and become part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees, looking to become the markets leading industry as a One Stop service/repair shop.
✓Key Objectives
✓Reporting to the Operations Manager your key responsibilities will be to ensure all Trailer Auto Group [TAG] products are completed to specification and up to the highest quality standard.
✓The successful applicant will carry out detailed inbound inspections including taking photographs in order for the admin team to complete a detailed damage estimate.
✓You will also carry out detailed pre delivery inspections [PDI] of all completed trailers including finished vehicle photographs in order to sign the trailer off as complete.
✓You will need to report any snags to the Operations Manager in order for them to be completed by the relevant team.
✓Responsibilities include:
✓Ensuring each Trailer Auto Group product is completed to specification
✓Perform quality checks on finished products
✓Final inspections of finished product before customer delivery
✓All detailed inbound trailer inspections
✓Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
✓Adhering to Health and Safety rules and regulations
✓Maintain production area housekeeping
✓Key Skills
✓This role is ideally suited to an organised, proactive and self-motivated individual with a systematic approach to production quality.
✓Organised, proactive and self motivated individual
✓Hands on manufacturing experience within the trailer industry
✓Ability to work to tight deadlines
✓Ability to ensure production output target and quality is maintained
✓Trailer knowledge is essential
✓A good attention to detail is essential
✓Honest and reliable
✓Willingness to learn new skills and undertake a variety of tasks.
✓You will have a solution focused attitude
✓Full UK driving license is essential
✓Previous experience driving a shunter would be an advantage but is not essential Show more →
