Maintenance Technician - Mechanical Fitter
Description✓Landmarc currently require an HGV Fitter/Technician to join our thriving business
✓The role will involve carrying out inspections, MOT preparation, basic fault finding and minor repairs on small number of vehicles
✓The majority of servicing is undertaken on a set 6 monthly servicing plan due to the limited mileage undertaken.
✓The successful candidate will be a good team player working within a small but dedicated team also with the ability to work alone or with minimum supervision.

✓Main ResponsibilitiesCarry out limited mechanical maintenance, minor repairs and fault finding on a small fleet of 8 vehicles which comprise Landrovers, trailers and HGV’s.
✓Preparation of vehicles for testing and inspection
✓To ensure documentation for all tasks is completed.
✓Experience of communicating with customers
✓The Ideal CandidateCompletion of level 3 qualification such as City and Guilds, ONC, NVQ or equivalent supported by relevant experience.
✓Hold a minimum of category C driving licence [Cat H desirable]
✓Knowledge of H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
✓Knowledge of military vehicles is desirable but not essential for this role.
✓Undertake appropriate training on types of equipment should this be necessary
