✓Location: Sheffield
✓Shift: Shifts – 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
✓ Permanent
✓Maintenance Technician required to join a well-established automotive manufacturer, based in Sheffield on a permanent basis offering a competitive salary.

✓The Maintenance Technician role:
✓You will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
✓ You will also be responsible for improvements, installations, inspections, documentation, fault finding and other engineering tasks
✓Therefore, you will be an experienced fault finder on electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems with a good grasp of preventative maintenance processes.
✓ You will ensure that your activities comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
✓ You will establish and develop successful working relationships with a network of local and international suppliers.
✓ You will work with contracting resources and OEM’s to perform a variety of tasks.
✓ You will be supporting Research and Development work on future models by providing support, ideas and bespoke items required to develop new processes.
✓ You will monitor and react to feedback from equipment monitoring systems.
✓Knowledge, Skills, and Experience of the Maintenance Technician:
✓Essential:
✓Electrical: Fault finding, Testing, Installation, Inspection, Functional Testing
✓Component replacement and all other activities linked to electrical maintenance.
✓ Mechanical: All mechanical tasks on site ranging from belt changes to motor installs
✓ Hydraulics: Fault finding, Component replacement, inspection and testing
✓Desirable:
✓Robotics: Fault finding and Re-Programming, Maintenance, Servo-drive related tasks and inspections.
✓ PLC’s: Siemens service experience preferred.
✓ You will have proficient experience in Engineering and Maintenance ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.
✓ You will have experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Software [CMMS] included in this should be spares, consumables and equipment management.
