✓MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
✓Responsible for checking for any chips or defaults within bearings and assessing the bearing for oil stains, responsible for 100% check of bearings
✓Adherence to Health & Safety
✓In addition, Handlers must wear specific gloves whilst carrying out these duties to limit any contamination of the product.
✓TASK/ RESPONSIBILITY
✓Inspecting each bearing for chips
✓Inspecting each bearing for oil stains
✓Separating bearings between “good” or “scrap”
✓Logging number of scrap bearings
✓Health & Safety Compliance
✓General House Keeping
✓Liaison with Group Leader to raise any concerns
✓ DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✓Responsible for physically handling bearings and inspecting for defaults; including chips or oil stains
✓Responsible for separating bearings into 2 containers, “good bearings” which are suitable for use, or “scrap” if they are deemed poor quality
✓Maintaining physical diary of number of scrap bearings for quality compliance
✓Health & Safety awareness and compliance
✓General housekeeping, ensuring work area is clear and tidy at all times and walk ways free of obstructions
✓Regular contact with Group Leader, advising them of any patterns of defaults to improve quality standards
