✓Our established client is one of Europe’s largest providers of electric vehicles
✓They are looking for a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join their team of vehicle service technicians in South London and the Southern Region
✓You will be trained on how to service and repair a range of their electrical vehicles and motorcycles
✓This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to gain experience working in the electric vehicle industry.
✓Suitable candidate locations could include: Croydon, Southwark, Beckhenham, Sidcup, Bromley, Sutton, Mitcham, Sevenoaks or surrounding areas.
✓Other titles may include: Automotive Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Mobile Mechanic, Motorbike Mechanic.
✓The Role of Mobile Vehicle Mechanic
✓To carry out routine servicing or maintenance on fleet electric mopeds and electric motorcycles around London, Greater London and the Southern Region.
✓Conduct diagnosis of any found or reported faults, carrying out repairs as required
✓Completion of appropriate documentation
✓Carry out road tests to confirm correct operation and stability following service/repair
✓Operate stock control and manage the parts ordering process
✓Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to an acceptable standard
✓Provide great customer service and offer advice to drivers and their managers
✓Understand and comply with health and safety standards
✓Shadowing engineers to gain hands-on training and knowledge
✓Attend training courses to update personal skills and knowledge
✓Full product training will be provided in the London workshop
✓The Candidate
✓Must have previous vehicle mechanics experience such as servicing, repairs, MOT or diagnostics
✓Holds a City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance
✓Full clean UK Driving Licence
✓Organised approach to work and effective time management
✓Excellent communication skills, demonstrating an ability to develop effective and professional working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
✓Happy to stay away overnight when the role requires
✓Professional approach and able to represent the company positively
✓Keen to learn and improve own performance
✓Willing to go the extra mile to fulfil customers' needs
✓Salary and Package
✓Monday – Friday day shifts [40 hours per week]
✓Fuel card and own van once training completed [all training is provided upon accepting the position]
✓Holiday is 20 days per year + bank holidays
✓Full uniform and PPE are supplied
✓Salary: £28,000-£33,000 [dependant on experience]
✓Door-to-door travel
