✓Our client, the world's largest and respected provider of heat treatment and thermal processing solutions are looking for a talented Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring that the products manufactured meet the required Quality standards and ensure that you will minimise quality costs and maximise efficiency.
✓The Role - Quality Engineer - Stockport
✓Manage quality related issues within the manufacturing department
✓Conduct root cause analysis and provide corrective actions for product issues
✓Carry out process and product auditing
✓Ensure products adhere to correct quality standards
✓Ensure compliance with AS9100
✓Involved with the development of new products changes or current products
✓Support and lead process/continuous improvement activities
✓Conduct functional tests
✓Conduct PFMEA's
✓Liaise with customers for any QA queriesExperience/Skills required - Quality Engineer - Stockport
✓Qualification in materials/metallurgy or Quality
✓Strong knowledge of metal processing
✓Experience with quality engineering tools e.g
✓8D, RCCA
✓Guage R&R, 5s and other lean manufacturing techniques
✓Engineering background in a regulated industry
✓Team player
✓Excellent communication skillsBENEFITS:
