Description✓Quality Technician – West Midlands – up to £27,000 + Benefits – Ref 1253
✓I am currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to work for a leading engineering manufacturing organisation based in the West Midlands
✓Salary up to £27,000 + Benefits.
✓Monday - Friday 6am-2pm
✓The organisation are a leader in providing lightweight engineering products
✓They have been established for over 50 years working at the forefront of the market from their centre of excellence in the West Midlands supporting their broad and ever evolving client base
✓In this role you will be based on site as part of a well-developed quality department.
✓To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Quality Technician on a permanent basis
✓Within this role, you will be responsible for carrying out hand held measuring & visual inspections, perform first off & last off checks to ensure the compliance is meet
✓Raising non-conformances to both the Quality Engineer & Quality Manager and taking corrective action and containment plans through problem solving techniques such as root cause, 5y’s & 8D
✓In addition to this you will be responsible for supporting the Quality Engineer with internal and external audits and manage FMEA’s
✓You will be reporting into the Quality Manager and supporting the department in managing the company’s Quality provision.
✓Essential Requirements:
✓* Previous experience within a Quality Technician role or similar
✓* Proven ability dealing with first off & last off
✓* At least one years’ experience
✓Desirable requirements
✓* Product/Process audits
✓* Understanding of Problem-Solving Techniques, such as Root cause, 5Y & 8D.
✓* Injection Moulding Experience
