Roadside Technician
Description✓My client is going through an exciting period of growth and is looking to recruit a number of Roadside Technicians in the Southampton, Reading and Birmingham areas on a self employed basis
✓The company provides a full range of on-site maintenance and repair service to their customers and they are specialists and market leaders in DPF diagnosis and cleaning as well as all model servicing/ maintenance and mechanical repairs.
✓Your role will include:
✓* Responding promptly to service requests from clients, traveling to their location and performing on-site repairs and maintenance for a variety of vehicles.
✓* Utilising advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to conduct thorough diagnostics, efficiently identifying and addressing mechanical and electrical issues.
✓* Conducting necessary repairs, including servicing, fleet maintenance repairs, DPF cleaning, and general vehicle maintenance, ensuring the highest quality workmanship.
✓* Effectively communicating with clients, explaining the repair process, providing accurate estimates, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
✓* Adhering to safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment and deliver reliable repair and maintenance services.
✓* Maintaining accurate records of services provided, including parts used, repair time, and any additional information required for invoicing purposes.
✓Ideally you will have previous experience as a mobile mechanic and be comfortable providing roadside assistance and conducting repairs on various vehicles
✓You’ll also need:
✓* Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
✓* Thorough knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, DPF, and other crucial components.
✓* Proficiency in performing repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring the highest quality workmanship.
✓* Excellent problem-solving abilities, allowing for quick and effective resolution of automotive issues.
✓* Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients and explain technical matters in a clear and understandable manner.
✓* A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, demonstrating your ability to travel to various locations.
