Vehicle Test Technician - Connected Car

DescriptionExpleo are currently recruiting for an experienced Technician within Connected Car & HMI [Human Machine Interface], to join a leading Automotive Research and Development Team
Based close to Milton Keynes / Bedford, you will be working within a dedicated team of development technicians and engineers on an ongoing contract basis
This is not your every day workshop environment and you will be a key player in the test and development of future vehicles
You will be involved in the preparation, building and maintenance of vehicles or components for test, and supporting testing in static and dynamic conditions
Gathering accurate test data, you will analyse test results and report on the quality of the software.
Background, skills and experience required for the Connected Car Technician role:
* Educated to City & Guilds / IMI / NVQ Level 3 or higher - ideally within Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
* A good understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools
* A keen Interest in the latest smartphones and applications
* Proficient in Microsoft office, including Powerpoint and Excel for producing reports
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Valid UK / EU Driving licence
