Due to continued business growth and success, we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Aftersales Advisor / Parts Advisor to work in our busy multi franchised aftersales department.
Aftersales Advisor – The role:
Our departments main aim is to maximise the utilisation, productivity and efficiency KPI’s of the Aftersales department, whilst maintaining high standards of customer care, working with specific targets and budget guidelines.
In addition to this you will be responsible for:
• Answering all aftersales queries and booking service and repair work in to the diary
• Working closely with a team of experience professionals to control the flow of work through our workshop
Warranty Controller/Parts Advisor - What we need from you:
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven customer service background with the ability to work well within a team.
With the benefit of being a multi-franchised dealership you will have a wealth of management support from all our franchises so you can strive to continually improve the department’s processes and profitability with a ‘can do better’ attitude.
Having a solid understanding of vehicle aftersales repairs and maintenance needs, as well as previous franchise dealership experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
Essential
• A minimum of 2yrs service in a busy Warranty/Parts Aftersales Dealership
• A good understanding of Motor Vehicle Specifications
• A good understanding of vehicle problems, repair and warranty procedures
• Knowledge of Manufacturer operating standards
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience within a customer service-based environment
• Appropriate customer handling techniques
• Safety policies and procedures
• Invoicing, billing and completion of job instruction cards
• An understanding of monetary transactions
• Use of general office equipment
Desirable
• Qualified to GCSE level or equivalent
• Previous experience within a similar automotive / vehicle technician role
• Knowledge of specific products and promotional information
• Knowledge of competitor’s service and pricing structure
• Knowledge of National and European regulations, restrictions and legislation relevant to the motor industry
