Description✓Workshop Controller - Preston
✓Vacancy - Workshop Controller
✓Basic - 30k - 35k DOE
✓Monday - Friday - 8.00am - 5.30pm [1 hour lunch]
✓5.00pm finish on a Friday
✓We have a very good opportunity for a polished Workshop Controller to join our client's family run main dealer in the Preston area
✓The role:
✓* Ensure workshop procedures are adopted by adhering to the latest repair methods in compliance with manufacturer guidelines for all warranty & goodwill repairs.
✓* Ensure all relevant documentation including technical finding as a result of a manufacturer defect are processed in an efficient manner.
✓* To ensure the full usage and effectiveness of additional work identification and costing through the VHC process.
✓* To undertake regular quality checks of all service, warranty and vehicle preparation work, ensuring any re-work is scheduled with the minimum of delay.
✓* Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the best experience/service is delivered to all contacts at all times
✓The ideal Candidate will:
✓* Take pride in their ability to maximise the success of the department whilst simultaneously delivering exceptional levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
✓* Be focussed on achieving goals; you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and will be recognised as being a self-motivated team player and target achiever.
✓* Hold a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Workshop Controller within a volume or prestige franchised dealership
✓* Hold a valid UK driving licence
