✓Vacancy - Workshop Controller [Semi Productive]
✓Location - Canterbury
✓Hours - Mon - Fri 8am to 6pm
✓Saturdays- Not currently but as required 8am to 1pm
✓Salary: £35k basic OTE £45k+
✓We are recruiting for a workshop controller for our client in Canterbury, they have over 50 branches across the country and are an official franchised dealer for many of the UK's most popular car and commercial vehicle brands, including Ford, Kia, Mazda, and Vauxhall

✓Workshop Controller role:
✓* Supporting and training the Technicians to improve the skill sets of the team
✓* During busy periods, undertaking the maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard
✓* To ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the department
✓* Plan the distribution of work amongst the team utilising available skills mix
✓* Ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of brand service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators
✓* Allocate jobs to the workshop productive as appropriate to ensure maximum efficiency
✓* Liaise with internal and external customers as required for the collection and delivery of vehicles
✓* Ensuring all parts that are required to complete work within the workshop are ordered and placed through the computerised workflow system, including emailing suppliers with orders
✓* Ensure that these parts are linked to the correct job number and placed in the correct allocated rack accordingly.
✓Workshop Controller requirements:
✓* We are looking for someone with a like for like background so experience within a Workshop Controllers role will be perfect.
✓* Technically minded, experienced and senior level mechanic
✓* You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work to short deadlines and juggle competing priorities
✓* The role demands a flexible attitude and excellent customer service skills as you will be responsible for liaising with both internal and external customers.
