Chef
Description✓We are looking for an Experienced Chef to join the team on a temporary to perm basis
✓The successful applicant must have experience in cooking and preparing meals for a large number of people and must also be able to work well in a team as well as independently
✓Previous Care Home experience is advantageous
✓We would be happy to look at a Head Chef, for the right applicant.
✓Job role is for 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per day, £13 per hour.
✓We are hiring on behalf of a well established residential care home with a friendly home feel, they are looking for an experienced chef capable of the below,this is an immediate start for the successful applicant.
✓The location of the home is in the middle of Ipswich, very easy to commute to.
✓The Role:
✓* Develop and maintain menus which are varied and appropriate
✓* Cater to a wide range of dietary needs
✓* Support with the ordering and stock taking of groceries
✓* Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen
✓* Keep on top of relevant record keeping in line with policy and procedure
✓The Requirements:
✓* Good quality home cooking skills
✓* Ability to cater for a wide range of dietary needs
✓* A passion to make a positive difference to the lives of others
