Description✓HEAD CHEF REQUIRED FOR A CARE HOME BASED IN BOURNEMOUTH - £29000 PER ANNUM
✓Permanent position – 40 hours per week - Will include alternate weekends
✓Assisted on shift by 2 Kitchen Assistants or 1 Kitchen Assistant and Assistant Chef
✓This beautiful, friendly Neuro Rehabilitation Care Centre, based in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Head Chef to cater for just over 40 residents and also staff.

✓As a Head Chef you will provide Home – cooked nutritious and appetising meals, Pastries and snacks for residents while ensuring good Food Hygiene is maintained at all times.
✓Are you an experienced chef with experience of Care homes or Hospitals, or schools background?
✓Are you passionate about cooking and providing exceptional nutritious food?
✓Do you enjoy producing delicious Home – cooked meal that looks and taste great.
✓Are you a strong leader and can delegate with prioritising skills and experience of leading a kitchen?
✓Essential Requirements for Head Chef
✓A compassionate and caring nature.
✓Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
✓Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
✓Strong management and leadership skills.
✓Strong organisation and planning skills.
✓Ability to prepare, cook and present a variety of appetising and nutritious home – made meals.
✓An understanding of ‘What good looks like’ in terms of the dining and food experience.
✓Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
✓Flexible approach to working hours.
