Operations Manager
Description✓Operations Manager – Education – Derby to Evesham – Salary up to £38k, plus car allowance & pension
✓My client is an independent, forward thinking catering company who are passionate about providing an exceptional catering and consultancy service to their clients.
✓An opportunity has arisen for a self driven, dynamic Operation Manager to oversee approx
✓7 schools [some unique contracts] with another couple of openings in September.
✓You will also be involved in training staff and troubleshooting aswell as assisting with mobilisation of new contracts.
✓My client is specifically looking for a with previous Operations/Area management experience within the education and/or B&I sector or an ambitious, motivated Area Support Manager looking for their first step into Area Management
✓A fresh and positive approach is eesential
✓You will have a strong focus and passion for food and be up to date with all things education
✓You will be confident training new starters and existing staff aswell as having previous experience of increasing sales in units
✓You will also be confident attending client meetings and potential clients, this is key to the role – building and maintaining client and colleague relationships is paramount!.
✓You will have effective communication skills and strong financial acumen
✓My client is looking for someone who is able to drive the business forward and manage your clients and contracts effectively
✓The successful candidate will come from a quality focused contract catering company and Operation/Area Management experience from with the Education sector [desirable] or possible Healthcare or B&I
✓Experience managing schools with children who have additional needs would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also be a qualified chef and be prepared to “muck in” as and when required.
✓My client is offering a competitive salary depending on experience, bonus, car allowance, laptop, phone and pension.
