Picker and Packer
Description✓We're looking for a talented Picker & Packer to work for our client.
✓They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of the ability to work calmly under pressure.

✓Please note: In this position you'll occasionally be needed to work some shifts in unsociable hours

✓The Role:
✓As the Picker & Packer you'll report to the Manager and will be primarily responsible for working in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis
✓All staff will be required to work in all areas of the business
✓Dependent on operational requirements and supervise the staff screening process [currently within the covid guidelines].
✓In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

✓To check all products prior to packing.

✓To ensure all airline products are packed / loaded to specification.
3
✓Pack carts to the required standard and in accordance with passenger numbers.
4
✓Ensuring stock levels are maintained to the required levels.

✓Stock is rotated to get maximum shelf life.

✓Compliance to HMRC regulations.

✓Record, report breakages i.e., china, glass.

✓Carry out final search and screening function.

✓Regularly lifting weights between 12-15kg, includes [repetitive overhead lifting].

✓Adhere to inflight services security compliance.

✓Adhere to clean as you go standard.

✓Any other duties as requested by your manager.

✓The Candidate:
✓The ideal candidate for this Picker and Packer role will have relevant experience of the ability to work calmly under pressure
✓You'll also need experience of good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
✓In addition, an experience minimum of 1 years’ in catering [desirable] and an excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.
✓The ideal person for the role will be the following:
✓- Able to provide 5 years work history [gaps over 28 days need a gap reference][obtained for you by us!]
✓- Highly responsible & reliable
✓- Prepared to undergo a UK criminal check

✓Basic salary: Up to £11.18 per hour
