Our Adventure Playground Manager plays an integral role within our Children, Young People and Families Team, supporting our Head of Service to create inspiring, high quality and child focussed youth & play services.
The work of the Children, Young People and Families team is diverse, and current services include an Adventure Playground committed to the practice of adventure play, coaching in local schools, a family stay and play service, forest school sessions, after school and holiday services and youth leadership programmes
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our services that run at the Adventure Playground, leading the design, delivery, and management of these services
Working with a team of youth and play workers, you will ensure that the Adventure Playground is an exciting, enriching, and fun place for children and young people, ensuring best practice in provision
You will play a role in the management and supervision and training of our youth & play team and the young leaders and drive forwards continual service improvement through robust impact measurement and service development.
Tulse Hill Adventure Playground is at the centre of our Children, Young People and Families service, and you will have solid experience working in an Adventure Playground as you will hold managerial responsibility of the site and resources ensuring that the environment meets the needs of all the children who use it and to enable children to obtain the full benefit of the playground and its facilities. 
Your work will champion the work of the Adventure Playground and the role that play & youth services serve in supporting young people, building relationships locally with parents, schools and other local organisations, to support a collaborative approach to how we support Tulse Hill’s children and young people
You will support the output of High Trees work, including attending community meetings and events to publicise our work, and supporting the communications function to promote our services
A strong understanding of how your team sits within the wider work of the organisation and building strong relationships internally and externally is essential to the role.
