Childrens Sexual Violence Adviser
Description✓Child Sexual Violence Adviser- Permanent-Sandwell- Full Time- From 24-26K

✓This company is an established charity that provides a range of specialist abuse support services to women, men & children across the West Midlands region
✓Their holistic, trauma informed support enables victims to escape violence and abuse, cope with trauma and build resilience.
✓The Charity works in conjunction with a specialist service to provide support to women, men and children who have experienced rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse
✓This service covers the black country areas of Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
✓Your new role
✓You will work as part of a team to provide a high quality frontline service to children and young people between the ages of 5-18 that have been subjected to or impacted by various forms of sexual violence
✓You will provide tailored support to each individual through a trauma informed approach to support them in understanding their trauma and the potential impacts this has had or is having
✓What you'll need to succeed
✓This role requires an individual with compassion, empathy and excellent interpersonal skills.
✓You will need to have experience working with families that have complex needs such as mental health and substance misuse, experience with conducting and using risk assessments to manage and identify risk
✓you will need experience working/liaising within a multiagency framework
✓You will need to have a comprehensive level of knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice requirements, particularly in safeguarding children.
