✓We are proudly representing a highly-regarded national charity as they recruit a Communications Officer to join their team
✓This is a part-time role working three days per week
✓Our client is flexible on working days and can accommodate hybrid working.
✓We would love to hear from experienced Communications Officers with a wealth of experience writing copy, producing publications, and raising awareness
✓Please note that this is not a social media role, although the candidate will be working collaboratively with the social media team and producing copy.
✓This varied Communications Officer role will include the following duties;
✓* Actively raising awareness of the charity by writing copy and sharing case studies
✓* Liaising with the national press
✓* Preparing internal and external communications
✓* Interviewing, researching, and developing stories
✓* Creating engaging content including case studies, blogs, and articles
✓* Developing promotional publications
✓* Working collaboratively with the wider team on communications
✓* Working closely with the fundraising team
✓* Supporting the marketing team with content and communications
✓* Creation of the staff e-newsletter
✓* Other tasks as appropriate relating to communications
✓We are looking to speak to experienced Communications Officers who have a passion for writing engaging content to showcase the charity and increase awareness.
✓The skills and experience required for this role are as follows;
✓* Exceptional communication skills including written and verbal and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people
✓* Excellent and compelling writing skills
✓* Confidence writing to an extremely high standard
✓* Experience writing press releases
✓* Photography and videography skills are desirable
✓* Confidence using IT including the full suite of MS Office, Canva, and other design tools
✓* Ability to work well under pressure to deadlines
✓* Full and clean driving license
