We're looking for a Content Officer to join an ambitious team at this organisation’s Hammersmith Office.
Position: Content Officer [Social Media]
Location: Hammersmith, London
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £32,054 - £41,474 [includes London Weighting]

About the Role
The post holder will support the Social Media Manager to proactively grow awareness, drive engagement and shape the understanding of the organisation through social media.
Working closely with members of other teams including PR, Fundraising, Corporate Partnerships and in the organisation’s centres, you will develop dynamic, creative, and bold content for their national social media channels
The post holder will monitor social media sentiment, reply to comments, monitor the social media inbox and work with the Social Media Manager to report on monthly organic social media and to develop the strategy.
Key responsibilities of the Content Officer include:
To create bold, engaging, and dynamic content for the organisation’s national social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Monitor social media platforms along with the social media & PR Manager.
To moderate engagement on organic posts.
Moderate the organisation’s inbox and field messages to relevant departments.
To support the Social Media Manager with liaising with external organisations on social media campaigns and provide them with guidance for moderating paid content/challenge ads. 
To support the Social Media Manager in creating an annual content calendar.
To support the Social Media Manager in reporting and analysing social media analytics and using audience insight to develop responsive content.
Work with the Digital Marketing Manager, the social media & PR Manager and Fundraising to ensure consistency and cohesion between organic and paid-for social media.
About You
You will be a graduate and/or have a relevant qualification and/or have at least three years of experience working with the public via social media
You will be well organised, highly efficient, and ambitious to develop your skills as the PR team, and the charity grows.
Your excellent communication skills will be key in your work across a number of areas, with a variety of stakeholders, externally and internally, all in line with the organisation’s Tone of Voice.
To succeed in the role of Content Officer, your key skills will include:
Experience in engaging with people on social media within Brand and Tone of Voice guidelines.
Experience in writing engaging content. 
Experience in developing brand awareness through social media.
Experience in taking risks and having a bold, strong voice on social media.
Experience in taking complex content and making it social media friendly.
Some experience liaising with third parties for the moderation of social channels.
Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
An understanding of making stories work on social media.
A strong understanding of visual branding and a creative drive to develop a brand on social media.
