✓Their holistic, trauma informed support enables victims to escape violence and abuse, cope with trauma and build resilience.
✓Your new role
✓Your new role will be to work a part of an advisors team that provide a high quality frontline domestic abuse support service to those at high risk of harm
✓The Independent Domestic Violence Advisors support victims of domestic abuse to assess level of risk, inform victims of their options and develop tailored safety plans to protect the victim and their children
✓The role supports the empowerment of victims/survivors, assisting them to recognise the dynamics of domestic abuse present in their own situation through one to one support group work, to help them regain control of their levels.
✓What you'll need to succeed
✓This is a critical role that requires experience of working with a caseload of relevant service users and have excellent skills such as empathy, compassion, excellent interpersonal and caseload management, a client centred approach and proactive crisis intervention
✓Driving is desirable as travel is required.
✓Due to the nature of this role, we can only consider female applicants.
