DescriptionMencap's Lifestyles and Work team provide supported employment programmes for people with a learning disability
Employ Me’s Schools Programme is a funded project that provides support to gain the skills, knowledge and experience to support learners explore the world of work.
We have an opportunity for an Employment Caseworker to join our Employ Me team to deliver our one of schools programmes provision to schools across the London Boroughs of Sutton and Kingston upon Thames
This role is full time [37.5 hours per week] contracted until the end of July 2024.

We are looking for individuals who can work on their own initiative, have good communication skills across all levels, interpersonal skills and be approachable.
The successful Employment Caseworker will directly support people with a learning disability, autism and special educational needs [SEND] in education settings, delivering employability sessions.
You will work collaboratively with schools to identify learners to take part in our schools programme, delivering employability sessions
In this role you will build positive relationships with new schools to support the ongoing delivery of the Employ Me Schools programme.

It is essential that all candidates offered an interview for this role will need to provide evidence of their GCSE English and Math [or equivalent] at interview stage.
This role will close on Tuesday 18th July and interviews will be via MS Teams soon after.
