Permanent - Full Time Position Available
21 HSC are currently looking to recruit a Fundraising Officer on a full time permanent basis working 36 hrs a week for a highly reputable charitable organisation based in Edinburgh
The salary scale for this role is £28,593 - £32,588 depending on experience and qualifications.
Overview
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* To increase revenue with a focus on events, corporate fundraising, and individual giving.
* To increase the organization's visibility by concentrating on internal and external communications as well as social media content.
* To collaborate with co-workers around the company on developing fundraising strategies for initiatives and activities.
* Contribute significantly to the creation and execution of trust and foundation-centred fundraising initiatives to significantly boost the organisation’s revenue.
* To collaborate with the management group in creating new trust and foundation funding sources for project funding and core expenses.
* Maintaining good relations with trusts and foundations, submitting applications and renewals on time, collaborating with the Head of Operations and Project Managers to produce reports for funders in a timely manner.
* Any other fundraising and communications duties as required.
Essential Skills and Attributes
* Experience in managing successful community event activities, including the effective administration of volunteers and fundraisers for events.
* Excellent written, communications and organisational skills.
* Experience of fundraising databases.
* Ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines.
* Commitment to anti-oppressive and anti-discriminatory practice.
