Governance Inclusion Lead

✓Mencap are recruiting for a Governanace Inclusion Lead to work with Mencap’s Director of Governance to support the work of the Voices Council and our trustees with a learning disability. This is a full time [37.5 hours per week] permanent role. Whilst this post is office based – we know that work is something you do not just a place you go. At Mencap we give office-based colleagues and teams more flexibility about where the work is done.
✓Regular travel is required to our London office, there may also be local meetings with the teams and people you support when required.
✓What will you be doing day to day?
✓You will be organised and be able to manage agendas
✓You will be able to champion our team who have a learning disability to manage their own workload so they can fulfil their own role
✓You will be responsible for travel arrangements
✓You will be able to support others to share their thoughts and experiences
✓We have two teams who you will be supporting in this role, The Voices Council and Mencap Trustees
