✓What We Offer:
✓Full Time 37.5 hours per week [two week rolling rota covering early shifts 8:00am -16:00pm and late shift 15:30pm - 23:00pm] shifts will include weekend working, one weekend on and one weekend off.
✓Holly Tree House operates 7 day per week, 365 days per year, there will be a requirement to work evenings and weekends.
✓Salary £22,711.50 per annum rising to £23,441.51 after completion of 6-month probation.
✓Location: Holly Tree House, Bawburgh Lane, Norwich
✓Annual leave entitlement of 26 days.
✓What is Holly Tree House?
✓Holly Tree House is a collaboration between the NHS and Norfolk and Waveney Mind, the service is a short-term recovery house which provides short-term care for people who are experiencing stresses and challenges in their lives
✓People accessing this service benefit from a temporary respite in a welcoming and peaceful environment so that they can return to their everyday life
✓Allowing them 5 days to focus on their wellbeing, supported by caring professionals to begin the process of recovery.
✓As an Intensive Crisis worker, you will support individuals to identify the cause of their Crisis, whilst encouraging them to develop their own plan of recovery, and promoting independence.
✓Among other responsibilities you will:
✓• 1-2-1 conversations with individuals experiencing crisis
✓• Liaising with external agencies & signposting to appropriate referrals
✓• Maintain a clear code of conduct and high standards of customer service in terms of dignity, respect and excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
✓• Food preparation and daily cleaning duties
✓• Complete and maintain all such records as are required for the governance, sustainability and accountability of the Norfolk and Waveney Mind Crisis Intervention Department.
✓• Ensure the service is equitable and non-discriminatory in terms of age, gender, ethnicity and disability.
✓• Work within Norfolk & Waveney Mind’s policies and Code of Conduct
✓What we are looking for:
✓• NVQ level 2 Preferred – Health & Social Care
✓• Two years’ experience of working within mental health
✓• Experience of multi-agency working, particularly with NHS services
✓• Experience of working with people with complex needs who may be difficult to engage
✓• An understanding of mental health difficulties, including the role of crisis support
✓• Ability to provide effective advice and guidance
✓• Experience of working with people who have a diagnosis of a personality disorder.
