Description
As Marketing and Communications Executive, you will:
Support the team delivering marketing plans across welfare and fundraising areas of the charity
Write high quality copy for websites, social media, email and print
Design and build email campaigns using a mailing platform
Manage social media channels, with experience of social media scheduling and listening software
Collate monthly analytics from communication channels to show trends and insights, with the ability to make recommendations on future marketing activity.
Create a range of marketing assets that are in line with brand guidelines
Research and write compelling case studies that highlight the benefits of our welfare services
Implement changes to website using content management systems
Act as a central point of contact for the charity, working with supporters, trade press and third-party agencies
Record Supporter activity in the CRM database, create reports and track progressProfile
To be successful in the role as Marketing and Communications Executive, you will have the following skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years communications/marketing experience
Excellent copywriting skills, strong attention to detail and accurate spelling and grammar
Ability to research and plan engaging and accurate content, with an understanding of the audience and applying the correct tone of voice
Work with wider team to implement a marketing plan to ensure deadlines are met and within budget
Effective communication skills with the ability to connect with a range of audiences including beneficiaries and senior members of the industry
Excellent planning and organisation with an ability to prioritise and multi-task
Ability to use marketing software to create campaign designs, such as Canva, Photoshop or Indesign
Experience of social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite
Liaise with agencies, designers, printers and other third parties.
Attend team meetings and SLT meetings and help towards the communications strategy.
Navigate the charity's CRM database to record supporter activityJob Offer
