Mental Health Case Worker
Description✓Our client is a non-profit organisation working with people to support their health and wellbeing. Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise [VCSE] colleagues in Surrey and its boarders

✓They are currently looking for a Mental Health Case Worker to work within the Surrey Heath area
✓
✓Salary: Up to £26,000 Per Annum dependent on experience
✓Hours: 35 hours - Monday to Friday [no weekends or evenings]
✓Duration: Permanent

✓Location – Surrey Heath area [Camberley, Frimley, Chobham]

✓Working in partnership with the Citizens Advice Bureau you will support a caseload of individuals who are experiencing both financial and mental wellbeing issues helping to develop resilience and to manage their mental health effectively. Creating a nonclinical person-centred support plan around the individual, guided by the individuals needs and being the bridge to other support services and opportunities and working closely with other organisations already involved.

✓The aim is to remove practical and physical barriers that arise from the lack of resource at the community level.

✓Our ideal applicant will have/be;
✓
✓Previous experience within a mental health support role with Adults
✓Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
✓An understanding of Safeguarding policy and practise
✓Extensive knowledge of and understanding of mental health issues
✓Good communication skills both written and verbal
✓Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
