We are The Bridge Renewal Trust, a community-based charity that is dedicated to creating healthier, stronger and safer communities for the people of Haringey
We do this by working to reduce health inequalities, build stronger communities and ultimately improve quality of life.
Our ambitious new partnership project, Youth Voice, aims to address the racial inequity faced by Haringey’s Black and Minority Ethnic young people by strengthening their voices, empowering system change and supporting sustainability within the youth sector.
We are now looking for a Partnerships and Development Lead for the Youth Voice project on a full-time basis for a three year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.

The Role
As Partnerships and Development Lead, you will lead in developing the capacity of voluntary sector youth organisations in Haringey including training and fundraising support as part of the Youth Voice project.
You’ll facilitate strong partnerships between voluntary sector youth organisations to deliver shared priorities and share good practice.
You’ll connect smaller and larger youth organisations together with funders, decision makers, and regional networks.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop, design and co-ordinate training and peer support programmes for youth organisations
- Work with the Programme Co-ordinator and youth organisations to produce an annual plan of work that meets the capacity building requirements for the programme
- Work across statutory partners to contribute effectively to the development of strategies and policies which affect future delivery of services and the role of the youth sector in the borough
About You
To be considered as a Partnerships and Development Lead you will need:
- To be qualified in business development, fundraising or project management, or have substantial experience
- Experience of directly delivering capacity building training or support
- Experience of effective partnership working with a variety of statutory, voluntary and community, and private sector organisations
- Experience of preparing reports
- A track record of successfully tendering for contracts and/or grants along with other innovative income generating approaches
- An understanding of racial equity and knowledge of the development needs of excluded young people
- Knowledge of the development needs of grassroots youth organisations
- Good knowledge and understanding of key legal and/or policy areas
- IT proficiency
