Supported Housing Officer
Description✓Ashberry Recruitment are currently looking for a Supported Housing Officer for one of our well respected clients in the Bradford area
✓MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
✓* The post holder is responsible for providing a dual function of housing related support and intensive housing management to service users who are accommodated through the service.
✓* To provide a floating support service to service users referred to prevent homelessness.
✓* To take referrals from voluntary and statutory agencies, conduct needs and risk assessment in order to assess each referral for suitability for the service.
✓* Provision of intensive support with a minimum of at least 2 face to face key working sessions per week, and additional face to face and/or telephone support based on service users individual support needs.
✓* To assist service users to access the support and services that will assist in raising their quality of life, provide stability, explore options to pursue personal goals, aspirations and make choices.
✓* To work with a service user led approach to Support Planning, Risk Assessment and Risk Management in order to deliver support around housing and tenancy ready, health, economic wellbeing, criminal and civil justice, education and training, service user involvement, social enjoyment and interaction.
✓* To work with service users who are homeless/at risk of homelessness as a result of experiencing Domestic Abuse.
✓* To actively promote and engage a multi agency approach to working with families who present with complex needs.
✓* To work with Service Users using the Protective Behaviours model for educating and promoting positive, safe and healthy relationships
✓Working Hours: 35 hours per week to work flexibly between 9:00am and 6:30pm
✓* Enhanced DBS Check [A check will need to be carried out if no current DBS is in place]
