✓Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Lab Analyst
✓Profile:
✓A client driven UKAS accredited Asbestos Company, who provide asbestos management services to clients throughout the UK, are currently recruiting for a qualified Asbestos Lab Analyst based in or around the Bromley area
✓The successful candidate will have keen eye for details and will be well-versed in the bulk analysis of asbestos containing materials
✓Our client is happy receive applications from both Full Time and Part Time Lab Analysts
✓Applications will be considered from: Croydon, Orpington, Dartford, Gravesend, Sidcup, Swanley, Bexleyheath and Sevenoaks
✓Experience & Qualifications:
✓- Must hold the P401 qualification.
✓- Hold current / previous experience working within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Laboratory
✓- Good working knowledge of current HSG 248 guidelines
✓- Computer Literate; ideally with experience working TEAMS or similar industry specific software
✓- Have a keen attention to detail and ability to work a with a fast-paced environment
✓The Role:
✓- Preparing all samples for analysis of fibre content
✓- Undertaking bulk analysis of ACMs by use of PLM and Stereo Microscopy.
✓- Recording of findings using TEAMS
✓- Partaking in RICE and AIMS schemes
✓- Calibration of laboratory equipment
✓- Accurately completing analysis test sheets and reports.
✓- Liaising with clients and advising on aftersales services
✓- Maintaining safe working practices within the Laboratory
