✓We are looking for a Carpenter to assist in the reactive repairs and maintenance of social housing and void operations in Staines.
✓Daily responsibilities of a Carpenter are:
✓Undertaking responsive maintenance and/or planned works within occupied and void properties
✓Repairing or renewing doors
✓Source and fit various different locks [i.e
✓sash, mortise, night latch, euro cylinders, etc.]
✓Kitchen repairs, including worktop replacement, unit replacement, kick boards, and basic sheet flooring
✓Replacing rotten floorboards, joist repairs, etc
✓Stud walling
✓Basic plumbing repairs [ability to remove sinks/WHB and toilets]
✓Updating PDA devices with key information and work schedulesRequirements of a Carpenter are:
✓NVQ Level 2 or above in Carpentry
✓Full UK Driving Licence
✓Previous experience within social housing or a fast-paced repairs environment
✓Asbestos Awareness [desirable]Benefits for the Carpenter role:
