Salary: £30,000-£32,000 DOE
Location - South East Kent - Dover 
Hours - 40 hours per week, rotational times of  08.00-16.30 and 08.30-17.00
Benefits - 33 days annual leave, pension and GP health app.
SUMMARY 
We are seeking a  experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, operations, and safety of a site in Dover. 
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance staff, coordinating with external vendors, and implementing effective processes and procedures to maintain the smooth functioning of the facilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proven track record in facilities management and good ethics. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management strategies and plans, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives.
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff, ensuring proper allocation of resources, scheduling, and training to meet the needs of the organisation.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities.
Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services, including maintenance, repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify any issues or potential hazards and take appropriate corrective actions.
Approve invoices.
Keep the customers updated at all times and informed of any re scheduling.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, codes, and standards
Manage the facilities budget, monitor expenses, and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts using the companies cloud based service management platform
 
 YOU
Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a similar industry or setting.
Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
