Mobile handyman/handywoman/caretaker
Description✓Role: Mobile Handyman / Handywoman / Handyperson / caretaker.
✓Based: Various roles across North/East London so we will place you as close to home as possible.
✓Start date: ASAP
✓Length of contract: Ongoing - could lead to a perm contract
✓Rate per hour: £15.23 PAYE per hour - rate includes holiday pay this is based on a salary on £24,000 + holiday pay
✓I am currently recruiting for someone to work within a social housing environment across multiple sites in East London to carry out general repairs in communal areas.
✓It is a welcoming, friendly environment to work, with a supporting team to help you succeed and learn from.
✓There is excellent opportunity for growth and development within the organisation.
✓You will be paid weekly initially.
✓Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm - paid 35 hours weekly 1 hour lunch break
✓**FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED [WITH 6 POINTS OR LESS]**
✓*DBS - You will need a clear basic DBS for this role dated within 1 year, if you do not have one we can look to put one through for you, we can discuss further after application
✓Duties:
✓You will be responsible for general minor repairs on communal areas of social housing estates such as:
✓Painting/decorating
✓Fixing fencing/replacing fence panels
✓Replace/fix locks and door handles
✓Repairing stair banisters
✓Putting up signs
✓Replace slabs
✓Garden clearance
✓Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
✓We are looking for someone with a decent can do attitude and a good team player.
✓The role is on going and could lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
