Quality Advisor

DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Quality Advisor to join our growing Technical Services team.
Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be working with a variety of project delivery teams across our rail and aviation divisions.
Advising on procedural implementation and on-site quality, you will be using a variety of tools to support our projects in measuring performance and identifying areas of best practice, opportunity, and weakness, recommending, and implementing improvements as required.
 
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide training to on site teams on the use of the CMS
Support operational teams in developing quality documentation
Liaising with the client, developing effective working relationships
Take responsibility for the timely close out of NCRs as identified during audits
Undertake internal and observe external audits
Analyse outputs of the quality audits to identify areas of best practice and improvement
Provide quality advise and support to the business
Maintain controls for operational documentation such as procedure forms and guidance notes
Support the business in establishing company's quality policies, procedures, standards and specifications
Review and maintain existing policies and procedures, making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
Implement the requirements of the Company Management System [CMS], as applicable to the business operations
Assist Quality Manager in maintaining and developing the company ISO accreditations as required by the business
Keep up to date with current legislation and industry trends. 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, BEHAVIOUR AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience within the Civil engineering sector is essential
Quality Management Experience to ISO 9001
Knowledge and use of quality management systems and process improvement tools
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team
Eye for detail and thoroughness
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
Highly numerate and analytical with strong problem-solving skills
