✓Penguin Recruitment is proud to be working alongside a leading UK based Acoustic Consultancy in their search for an experienced Acoustician to join the team out of the Southampton offices [on a hybrid basis]! My client offers international consultancy, monitoring and research services to a range of public and private sector clients within the infrastructure, healthcare, education, construction and residential sectors
✓Joining as the newest member of the team, my client will provide you with additional training & a wealth of knowledge to develop your skills as an Acoustic Consultant - this opportunity offers great exposure to environmental, building and architectural acoustics!
✓Requirements:
✓Experience working in a UK based acoustic consultancy with experience undertaking either environmental noise surveys or architectural acoustic design-based work.
✓IOA membership.
✓Full UK driving licence.Duties:
✓Undertake noise assessments and surveys.
✓Preparation of fee proposals.
✓Continued professional development.
✓Noise modelling work using software including CadnaA & ODEON.
✓Prepare and complete technical reports.
✓Liaise with clients, local authorities, and engineers regarding project requirements.
