Description✓Interim Commissioning Manager
✓£300 per day
✓Location: Swindon
✓Akton Resourcing are currently working with a local authority to recruit 2 Commissioning Managers to join the Children's Services team on an initial 6-month contract
✓We are looking for candidates with solid expertise in Children's Commissioning services at a senior Officer/Junior manager level
✓The role will be operating on a full time, hybrid basis, with a minimum of 1 day on-site per week
✓* Ideally will have expertise within Early Help, SEND or CWD or placements to be appropriately placed with a specific project.
✓* Focus will most likely be within LAC and placements as this is the highest spend area but will consider applicants with expertise across Children's Services.
✓Most critical areas must be demonstrated in skills/experience:
✓* SME expertise in CSC Commissioning.
✓* Must be able to demonstrate skills around commissioning, including knowledge of the whole commissioning cycle and follow the process through effectively.
✓* Will operate with a starter-finisher mindset.
✓* Will work collaboratively with the wider commissioning team and must be flexible to move different projects
