Based – Aylesbury, office based with WFH 2 days a week

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to work with our Head of Human Resources on a 9 month fixed term contract.
Job Overview:
As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing HR support and guidance to our employees across the organization
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will assist in various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR administration

Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
Assist in handling employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
Provide advice and guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support the HR Manager in conducting investigations and resolving employee concerns.
Performance Management:
Assist in coordinating the performance management process, including objective setting, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
Collaborate with managers to ensure performance reviews are conducted in a timely and constructive manner.
Help monitor and track performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Support the HR Manager in the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, and conducting initial screenings.
Coordinate interviews and assessments, and assist in making hiring recommendations.
Assist in preparing employment contracts, offer letters, and new hire documentation.
Facilitate the onboarding process to ensure new employees receive a smooth and positive integration into the company.
HR Administration and Policies:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Support HR projects, initiatives, and programs as directed by the HR Manager.
Help develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with current employment legislation and best practices.
HR Reporting and Analysis:
Compile HR data and generate reports related to employee metrics, turnover, and other HR analytics.
Assist in analysing HR trends and patterns to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
CIPD Level 5 preferred
Prior experience in an HR role or relevant experience is preferred.
Experience of creating and implementation of processes from scratch.
Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
