✓Our client is looking for an experienced Environmental Specialist who has extensive experience in permitting to join their leading independent Environmental Consultancy
✓The client work on regional and international projects and provide a range of specialist services across many sectors such as residential, commercial, retail, waste, and industrial
✓Their key focus is on Renewable Energy, Built Environment, Low Carbon Technologies and Environmental Planning & Permitting.
✓Requirements:
✓Experience in EPR and IED permitting with ability to deliver EPR permit applications across a range of industries
✓Relevant experience in a similar role
✓Experience advising clients and interpreting regulatory requirements in regards to sector and horizontal guidance and the applicability of BAT
✓Knowledge of the EIA and Environmental Planning regimes
✓Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
✓Experience with environmental risk assessments, site condition reports, environmental management systems
✓Full UK Driving License
✓A positive attitude and the ability to create long lasting relationships with clientsDuties:
✓Produce environmental permitting applications
✓Project management and delivery
✓Work across a range of different sectors including hazardous and non-hazardous energy from waste plants, alternative fuel production and industrial process industry
✓Preparation and delivery of proposals
✓Deliver aspects of the environmental permitting process such as environmental risk assessments, site condition reports, fire prevention plans, environmental management systems and management plans
✓Preparation and delivery of technical permitting submissions
✓Liaise with client and support with environmental legislationBenefits:
