✓Shirley Parsons have exclusively partnered with a globally established multidisciplinary Consultancy who have an opening for a Senior HSEQ Advisor specialising in Mechanical and Electrical
✓The post holder will be responsible for providing expert support to business units in the mechanical and electrical and renewable energy sectors
✓This opportunity has a hybrid working arrangement and will suit candidates residing in the United Kingdom, with the ability to commit to national travel
✓The Senior HSEQ Advisor will be responsible for:
✓Assisting the SHEQ department in providing SHEQ compliance, advice, and guidance with applicable legislation and industry best practice.
✓Preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements and processes.
✓Carrying out inductions, training, and toolbox talks.
✓Monitoring, delivery of internal audits, on-site inspections, and reporting on SHEQ performance for business operations, office, and field-based activities.
✓The ideal Senior HSEQ Advisor requires:
✓At least 5 years of experience in a health and safety position in a Mechanical and Electrical setting.
✓Experience of ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems as well as other key aspects of mechanical services would be beneficial.
✓An understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and ability to apply BS7671 is desirable.
✓NEBOSH General Certificate, ideally technical membership with IOSH, and experience with ISO standards.
