✓Due to business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Specialist to join a forward-thinking innovative team who deliver a premium service to their customers.
✓Sales/Trader Role
✓To provide high-quality support to the company Sales Director, in order to exceed sales targets.
✓You will influence and work together to identify and maximise sale opportunities to increase the profitability of business.
✓Sales/Trader Responsibilities
✓Internal processes followed to deliver a consistently high level of service.
✓Working with other departments; in particular Sales, Purchasing, Technical and Production Planning to ensure strong communication is maintained, whilst delivering on promises.
✓Building and fostering relationships, taking a lead role in the resolution of any customer queries or other problems as they arise.
✓Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure all orders are processed correctly and within the agreed time limits.
✓Communicating and liaising with Account Managers as required.
✓Assisting with ad-hoc projects when required and day-to-day tasks, whether routine or urgent, and complete successfully and in a timely manner.
✓Maintaining familiarity with all company updates and keeping confidentiality of information.
✓Actively identifying areas of account development and delivering appropriate solutions to maximise sales within area.
✓Presentation of sales ideas and product training to groups of intermediaries as required, predominantly face-to-face or video call.
✓Maintaining credibility with external relationships through knowledge of their business and marketplace.
✓Developing good understanding and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitor activity, products and services and utilising this to build rapport and trust.
✓Maintaining and developing comprehensive industry knowledge, understanding market trends, and applying this to maximise business opportunities.
✓Actively seeking out those who can influence your business and develop a professional and trusting relationship.
✓Develop good and effective working relationships with all members of your team to provide and obtain beneficial mutual support.
✓Develop strong relationships with global Account Managers responsible for managing the relationships of key networks and seek their support to influence your accounts.
✓Fully understand the business plans and strategic objectives of the team globally.
✓Manage key cases and significant new business enquiries, to ensure effective conversion of high-quality business.
✓Diary management.
✓Provide support to the Sales Director when required [holiday cover/sickness].
✓Experience and Skills Required:
✓At least three years' relevant experience.
✓Self-driven with a positive outlook - a degree of autonomy required in decision making.
✓Motivated and proactive with the ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
✓Strong organisation and planning skills with ability to work to deadlines.
✓Excellent written and oral communication skills.
✓Flexibility in hours to cover different time zones globally.
✓Strong time management within a fast- paced environment.
✓Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Skills.
