Junior Project Manager
Description✓The position requires above-average attention to detail, concern for the exact correctness of work, and a strong commitment to tasks being completed on time.
✓On a day-to-day basis, will be the ownership and successful delivery of IT implementation projects to a satisfactory conclusion: on time, and within the resource time allocation.
✓Summary of the duties
✓* Management of IT installations and customer training throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
✓* Facilitate internal and external meetings with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
✓* Customer and 3rd party relationship management
✓* Internal and external planning documentation
✓* Ad-hoc in-house projects
✓These tasks will include:
✓* Working alongside the hardware and configuration team
✓* Working with other departments including projects, installation, training, customer services, and Customer Support throughout the project delivery
✓* Working closely with customers, understanding their needs, and managing their expectations
✓* Ownership of rollout deliverables whether internal or external
✓* Managing the pipeline of multiple implementation IT rollouts
✓* Creating rollout and deployments plans
✓* Identifying and mitigating risks
✓* Producing weekly update reports to all stakeholders and flagging up any roadblocks to be addressed
✓Skills and background required:
✓A background in project management and/or coordination where you are looking to develop your career and can demonstrate the characteristics required
✓* Able to commute to the Chorley area but flexible working will be considered
✓* You believe your primary skills include the following: Time management, Organisation, Communication, Negotiation, Risk Management, and Leadership.
✓* Use of MS Office and Project management software.
