Telephone Sales Agent
Description✓Title: Telephone Sales Agent - Full Time, Permanent
✓Salary: £19,570-£22,660 per annum dependant on experience [OTE £28,000-£30,000]
✓Our client based in Aylesbury; Buckinghamshire is seeking a Telephone Sales Agent to join their team on a permanent basis
✓The successful candidate will be dealing with inbound calls from customers to assist and provide quotations and policies for various insurance products.
✓Duties:
✓Making outbound calls to offer insurance quotations to existing customers and other warm leads
✓Providing accurate, rapid cost calculations and quotations
✓Dealing with inbound calls from customers to assist and provide quotations and policies for various insurance products
✓Ensuring customers are provided with the information they need to make an informed decision and purchase
✓Identifying customer's needs, highlighting product features and benefits of policies
✓Maintaining customer records and taking telephone payments in compliance with security protocols
✓Responding and following up on sales and service enquiries using appropriate methods of communication
✓Ensuring existing information held is accurate and up to date and all company and departmental policies and procedures are always adhered too
✓Carrying out additional duties as requested by management to meet business requirement
✓Attending training, meetings, and company events
✓Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
✓Requirements:
✓Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
✓Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
✓Computer literate - Microsoft packages
✓Effective questioning and listening skills
✓Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
✓Ability to work to agreed performance targets
✓Team player
✓Be open to learning new things and be a fast learner
✓Have determination and perseverance
✓Educated to GSCE level or equivalent
✓Proven successful background in a sales and customer focused environment
✓To have a genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of animals desirable
✓Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours a week working a rotational shift pattern between the hours of 9am and 6pm
✓Hybrid home and office days in the Aylesbury offices - fully remote also considered
